Farm Fresh Flapjacks

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Ballerina Farm Willa sourdough discard
  • 1 cup buttermilk or raw milk
  • 2 scoops of Ballerina Farm farmer protein powder
  • 3 Tbsp Ballerina Farm raw honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • 2 Cups Ballerina Farm high protein farm flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp Ballerina Farm coarse grey french salt

*Makes about 12 pancakes

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed. Let the batter sit at room temperature for 20 minutes while the griddle heats up.
  2. Preheat the griddle. Lightly grease the surface, then pour ¼ cup of batter in a circular shape. Cook until the bottom is golden and bubbles form on the top. Flip the pancake and cook until both sides are fully done, about 3 minutes per side.
