Homemade Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil
  • ¼ cup sharp white cheddar cheese
  • ½ c extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic peeled
  • ¼ tsp salt 
Ballerina Farm seasoning to taste
  • Juice from 1/2 of lemon

    Directions

    1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
    2. Add more olive oil if necessary. 



    Recipe Note

    • For the sandwiches! Sourdough bread, fresh mozzarella and then your pesto. Just sear them in a hot skillet with butter until the cheese is melted...then ENJOY!💫
